On December 18, 2017, at approximately 0300 hrs, an unknown suspect(s) entered the attached garage of a residence in Camrose and stole a 2006 GMC Yukon. The vehicle is black in color and had an Alberta licence plate “KITCAT1” attached. The victim’s wallet was in the Yukon at the time of theft. Police have determined an unknown male then used the debit card belonging to the owner of the vehicle at a gas station in Camrose and later in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. The below male was captured on video using the debit card.

Break & Enter

Between 2:40 am and 4:15 am on December 6, 2017, three residential complexes with underground parking were entered by the same lone suspect. The suspect entered all three buildings in the same fashion by prying open one of the main doors to the building and then walking down to the underground parking. In the first complex, the male smashed the window of five vehicles and rummaged through each looking for valuables. In the second complex the same male smashed the windows to three vehicles and entered two storage cages stealing a variety of small items. In the third building the male entered seven unlocked vehicles and several unlocked storage cages and stole a collection of antique coins as well as a wallet containing $800 and change. The male then started a vehicle which had the keys in the ignition and drove the vehicle outside into the parking lot but then abandoned the vehicle just outside the apartment building. The male was well disguised wearing black sweatpants, a blue hoodie with a black jacket over top, baseball cap, gloves and a bandana over his face and black shoes.

Theft

On Thursday, December 14th between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM the following suspects stole a wallet and keys from a locker at Augustana Fitness in the Recreation Center. One of the suspects purchased a day pass to enter the fitness center and then used bolt cutters to cut the lock from the locker. After stealing a wallet and keys they then attended the victim’s residence with the intent to commit a break & enter and theft from the home. Before entering they knocked on the door and were greeted by the victim’s spouse. The male then pretended to be at the wrong address and left. A few minutes later one of the suspects used the stolen credit card to make a purchase at a convenience store using the card’s tap feature.

On Sunday November 12th, 2017 at 10:00 PM an unknown person entered the north lobby of Grand Trunk Landing and stole the floor mat and a picture. Suspect was wearing black pants with white lettering, black boots, and a black winter coat.

Fraud

On October 15th, 2017, a male entered a local business in Camrose, Alberta and purchased several items using the hand held Moneris machine. On two separate occasions the male used three separate credit cards to make multiple purchases totaling over $1300. During the last transaction the machine indicated that it was a possible fraud which alerted the employee to stop the transaction. The employee then captured a photo of the suspect before he exited the store.

Theft

On September 17, 2017, at approximately 7:30 P.M., an unknown male entered the Wild Rose Co-op Gas Bar at 3901 – 48 Avenue, in Camrose, Alberta. The unknown male gathered various items, appearing to purchase them. The male then ran out of the store with the merchandise and entered a stolen gold minivan that was waiting at the rear of the business. The minivan has since been recovered in Maskwacis, Alberta, but Police are requesting assistance in identifying the male that was captured on the video surveillance.

On August 29th, 2017 at about 7:30 PM the female in the above photos fled the Camrose Superstore after shoplifting several electric toothbrush replacement brushes, two Crest whitening packages and numerous cosmetics valued at $283.44.  The female then fled the business in a silver Dodge Journey.

On June 30th, 2017 a male entered the Coop grocery store in Camrose, Alberta and shoplifted several items. The male was walking with a limp and is seen with a cane.

On March 22nd, 2017 a female suspect entered the Shoppers Drug Mart in Camrose and attempted to make a purchase with counterfeit $100 and $20 American currency.

On January 31, 2017 at approximately 3:04 am a male suspect entered the Windsor Bar and Hotel lobby and broke the glass barricade to the cashiers desk.

On 2016-12-24 at approximately 10:52 hours at the Royal Bank in Camrose, AB the male suspect was caught on camera fraudulently using the victims debit card to withdraw money from the ATM.

On December 23, 2016 at approximately 0030 hrs an Armand’s Taxi driver picked up three individuals from the Windsor Hotel located at 4911-51 Avenue, Camrose, Alberta. The three individuals entered the taxi and began directing the taxi driver towards Grand Drive, Camrose, Alberta. The taxi driver questioned where on Grand Drive he needed to go and one male stated to the taxi driver, “Shut up and keep driving or I’ll kill you. Just keep driving to Grand Drive. I’ll kill you, your family and everyone you know.” The taxi driver began driving towards 7-11 located at 5010-48 Avenue, Camrose, Alberta. Once they arrived, the three individuals ran from the taxi. The taxi driver followed the three individuals in his cab and one male picked up a brick and threw it at his vehicle causing a dent. The male proceeded to throw another brick which caused the rear driver’s side window to break. The three individuals ran from the area.

The three suspects are described as follows:

Male #1 – Caucasian with a French accent, approximately 200lbs and 6’0 in height with a long sleeve sweater and construction pants. The male was slim built and had a sleeve tattoo on his left arm.

Male #2 – Muscular build, Caucasian, no accent, 5’10 in height, wearing a t-shirt, jeans and a baseball hat with a white logo.

Break & Enter

On January 9th, 2017 at approximately 6:11 AM the Camrose Police Service responded to the Winners Store located at Unit 125, 4820 66 Street for multiple hits on a motion security alarm.  When Police arrived the front door of the Winners store was breached open and a search of the premises revealed multiple men’s clothing items were stolen.

Video Surveillance shows that a red Dodge Journey (unknown year and unknown license plate number) approached the Winners Store and a male passenger suspect broke into the store and stole multiple pairs of men’s jeans and men’s winter jackets.

On November 13, 2016, the male shown in the surveillance photo attempted to use a counterfeit Canadian $100 bill at the Wal-Mart in Camrose, Alberta.

Theft

Between October 19-20, 2016, unknown person(s) entered Pioneer Truck Lines yard in Camrose, Alberta and stole several fuel cards from the company’s vehicles. The fuel cards were used throughout central Alberta between October 21 -30, 2016.

Shoplifting

On June 17, 2016 at approximately 5:00 P.M. a female entered the Camrose Walmart empty handed, picked up a baby monitor from within the store and attempted to return it at the customer service desk. The return was denied and she walked out of the store without paying for it.

Shoplifting  – CAUGHT

On August 8, 2016 at 11:45 A.M. a female entered a local business in Camrose and placed merchandise in her purse while a male stood beside her so the cashier could not observe the theft.  The female then left the store without attempting to pay.  The female is approximately 50 years old, Caucasian, 5’2″, very heavy build, short blond hair, thick dark glasses, and a red large purse wearing a red t-shirt and black 3/4 length pants.  The male suspect is believed to be her son and is approximately  20 years old, Caucasian, 5’9″, heavy build, has dark frizzy hair and was wearing a grey t-shirt with ‘LET IT BE’ on the front.

On July 14, 2016 at approximately 2:00 P.M. the same female entered Pennington’s located in Camrose and left the store without paying for a number of clothing items.

Break and Enter

On February 18, 2016 at 4:00 A.M. The Cornerstone Subway located at 6800 – 48 Avenue in Camrose, Alberta was broken into and an unknown suspect fled with an empty cash register. The unknown suspect entered through the Northwest entrance door by breaking the glass to gain entry inside.
